Nach einem faulen Tag folgt ein noch faulerer Tag.

Nach dem Ausschlafen* gehen wir wieder zum Ruhepool und lassen uns am Strand, der ja eigentlich kein Strand ist, denn der Lago Maggiore ist ein See und Strand geht nur in Verbindung mit Küste, also einem Meer, wo fließendes Wasser fließt, nieder.

Für den Abend steht dann das Street Food Festival in Ornavasso an, die letzte Chance, denn es war nur drei Tage und heute am Sonntag ist der dritte Tag. Wir hatten italienische Musik erwartet, doch zu einem amerikanischen Street-Food-Festival gehören eher Amerikanische Klassiker. Die Stimmung ist super, die Essenauswahl groß und mein Herz tanzt, weil ich Churros* entdeckt habe. Ich liebe Churros*.

*Churros sind ein iberisches Fettgebäck. Die länglichen Krapfen bzw. Spritzkuchen mit sternförmigem Querschnitt werden aus Brandmasse zubereitet, in heißem Öl frittiert und mit Zucker bestreut.
